Since the bolts thread into the bracket, and you just want the bracket off, I don't see why you couldn't just drill straight into the head of the bolt with a bit that is the same diameter as the bolt shank. When you've drilled in enough, the head should basically fall off. Web26 jan. 2024 · Started off on the drivers front and the caliper came off easy. The caliper bracket bolts will not move with an impact gun or even a long extension bar. Tried doing the reverse method and the forward method and still would not move. My 19 mil metric deep socket and short socket 6 point kept slipping off no matter what I tried.
