WebJun 17, 2024 · Its a bigger upgrade to move to a 12th gen CPU when you have to buy a new motherboard anyway. 8 Alder lake cores is significantly better than 10 rehashed coffee lake cores. 6 12th gen cores with the 4 efficiency cores is still a better upgrade than a 10C/20T Comet Lake CPU.
